PORTRAIT COMMISSIONS:
I prefer to work from life. If your subject cannot do a sitting or is a child, then I will take the photo at my studio. With an appointment, come by to see finished works to select your size, color, etc. Then I do a photo shoot of many pictures of your subject, and narrow it down to 3 or 4 that I can work from, considering lighting, expression, etc. You choose your favorite of those, and I work from that photo. If you already have a photo of them, I just check to see that I can work from it. At times there is a waiting list, so if you want it for a particular occasion, please call early.

-a small hand study of your hand and your child’s hand for a “mother and child” theme
-a close up study of your little one’s feet
-a close up study of your little one’s hands holding his or her favorite toy
-a portrait of your child in an unposed setting or at play in a park
